Bug - Windows open as "restored" instead of "maximized"

A new window opens as maximized and then ends up as restored

Hi,

When Groupy is enabled (and I have Windows FX and Blinds, Start10 etc... all running also) and I open the File Explorer app it opens as maximized and then resizes to it`s "restored size" automatically.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

I was able to reproduce the issue and will log a ticket internally.  I cannot, however, provide a timeline for a resolution.

Edit:  It works for 'Always place above' (the default), just not for 'Combine if possible'

Not seeing the issue in Groupy 1.19.  Is that the version you are running?  If so, please post a video of the issue.

Where we can get 1.19? App said that 1.18 is the latest version :)

Can confirm that the bug is still there for Groupy 1.19. This doesn't happen if I turn off Groupy, so it means that the bug persists.

OS info: Windows 10 64bit, version 1809 (OS build 17763.437)

GIF. Although this doesn't happen 100% of the time.

Steps:

1. (Explorer maximized beforehand)

2. (Groupy turned on beforehand)

3. Open explorer/This PC

4. Window doesn't open maximized

5. Turn off Groupy

6. Open Explorer again -- it is maximized.

I have the same issue. Using Windowblinds with the Diamond theme along with Groupy and Windows Explorer does exactly as OP is stating.
