I want to buy Object Desktop but I do not understand if it is a one time payment or subscription, this is very important to see if I make the purchase. Thank you for your answers.
If you view this link https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/ close to the bottom. It mentioned there. Its basically Subscription for a year. But what ever version you have won't expire after that year. Just that updates and betas not available after the year unless you renew your subscriptions. Let us know if you need more information.

After the end of the year, the programs run out of updates but are usable or just can not use them?
Usable. Just make sure you save those installer in-case you need to reinstall it.
