Links at top of menu don't work

On the start 10 menu configured to look like Windows 7, the links at the top of the menu do not work. On my old computer they are presented with logos: Dashlane/RecentPlaces/Windows 10 Menu. On the new PC,  they say dashlane.lnk/RecentPlaces.lnk/Windows 10 Menu.lnk and of course go nowhere when you click on them.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Start 10.

How do I set up these links?

I did exactly as you said, ran the "purge" software and reinstalled Start 10 and I still have the same problem! I'm trying to figure out if there is something I can do in the control and configure areas of the software - but I don't see anything. I do appreciate your help, however.
