Latest Windows 10 update wiped all previous Fences daily backup snapshots

Windows 10 Update interferes with Fences

Last night Windows 10 Pro was updated with the latest version. When I booted my computer, the new Win10 default screen displayed and all of my previous Fences settings, folders, organizations, etc. were gone.

After starting Fences (v 3.0.8.1), I was prompted as though this was a brand new start of Fences. I went to Layout & Snapping to restore to a previous layout backup snapshot (I have the auto snapshot feature selected) , but there were no previous backups shown, the only option was the new Win10 default version.

I never erased those previous versions, but I'd like to restore them from my backup files. What is the folder path to those snapshots?

I rolled back the Win10 v1803 update successfully, and when I restarted under that former version (1709) all of my Fences settings returned, including the saved snapshots.

Somebody else suggested the new 1803 update could have created a new profile for me and was opening in that profile, hence none of "my" settings were configured.

Dontcha just love Microsoft's testing?

Happy again :)
