make fences retain setup after graphics driver update

This has literally broke my nerves. Nvidia updates the software constantly and, everytime they do, I have to re-setup fences... each window individually, resizing, re-locating, etc. etc.

The same thing happens to objectdock where I have to reset the monitor location for both of my toolbars and set it up again.

It happened on my previous windows system, it happens on this windows system too and, from what I've seen in the forum, this is an issue that is being going on for years.

 

Some facts:

-I use two monitors (extended) with different resolutions each

-I have tried -possibly- every combination in fences' options along with what has been suggested in the various threads I have come across (including '..on a per-screen-resolution basis')

-I'm using win10 pro 64bit but this happened also on windows 7

 

Yes, it works if I save a snapshot now, mess up the screen and try to recall that setup. It *doesn't* work though when there is a graphics driver update.

 

So,

any chances we finally have a fix for it?

do you have any news on the issue? nvidia released yet another update which -I know for a fact- will mess everything up in my desktop again. As I said, they constantly release updates.
