Object Dock showing currently running apps instead of opening new one

I upgraded from an old version to the current, and now when I try to open a program, if there is one copy running it shows me that rather than opening a new one.

for example, explorer.exe, another is putty.

How can I fix this?

Thanks

I am assuming you are on Windows 7, ObjectDock with icon link to "explorer.exe" will open a new explorer if there is no explorer running. If you need to open another explorer you need to right click and pick "Run explorer"

I should note that this is a tabbed dock

Actually Windows 10, which I know is unsupported.  But, I have the older version running on a second computer, and on that one, clicking the icons will open a new window, not show the current ones.

and, I listed the explorer as an example. Another one I'm having the problem with is putty, with the following Dock Icon properties:

Link:  D:\Program Files (x86)\PuTTY\putty.exe

Arguments:  -load abc

Start in: D:\Program Files (x86)\PuTTY

As you can see, it is pointing directly to the exe.  The Explorer was only mentioned as an example

I already did that, it was the first thing I checked.

It was off,  I tried turning it on and then back off, didn't seem to do anything

I need to make sure we are not working on a Win10 box - OD is not yet fully compatible and could be the reason.

If this is Win7, please try:

It IS Windows 10, I've said that in almost every post.

Its is known that OD not fully compatible on Windows 10 system. It might work on some system and might now work on other system with Windows 10. That why it is not supported for Windows 10.

I understand, but was hoping that this problem would have been easy to diagnose

Speaking of which, when will it be supported for W10?
