New to Wincustomize

Hello I'm new as I stated above. I have been using the programs for awhile and I have many questions, but a few I will ask.
1. What is the difference between windowblinds and desktop X, is desktop x the whole theme package like gui, wallpaper, skins for sysmetrix and winamp, ect. . .
2. When I go to display properties I have a winstyles button. I can't seem to get it to function right. I have 5 suites, that I assume I must download.

I'm sure I'll have more.

WindowBlinds skins your windows, startmenu, taskbar, explorer, etc.
DesktopX allows you to make an interactive desktop and allows scripting.
Sysmetrix is a different program.
You need to install all software packages before WinStyles can be used.
At the top of each skin download section you will find links to the appropriate software.
Some is shareware, some is freeware.
