Space of icons in list view?

This wasn't the case with older versions of fences or on my windows 7 machine. But on windows 10, the horizontal spacing between icons on list view is so bad. I have tried every single setting and i can't find one to make it better. Anything i can do?

I think it related to how windows show it on its explorer. Almost same spacing.

You can adjust the spacing with some registry tweaks. See here:

Haven't tried to see if it translates to Fences, though. Also, it's global, so the changes apply to all layouts, not just lists.

Thanks! i just tried it and it DOES change fences and windows icon spacing when you use ICONS as a view. But still if i use list to have it horizonal on my desktop it still has the afwul spacing :(

It's not a windows 10 thing, I don't think.  I reverted back to v2 on windows 10 and my spacing is nice and compact for lists in a portal.
