Moving a Fence

Is there anyway to keep a fence being moved from pushing all the other desktop icons around?

Have you tried Locking Fences

We don't get it. Maybe a screen grab or a video will explain better.

The middle of the screen contains about fifty regular win 10 icons in various length columns. Create a fence on the left side of the screen and try moving it to the right side of the screen. Any icon in its path is push ahead of the fence rather than left in place. If I can not get this feature turn off and the background transparency fixed then Fences is unacceptable.

I might not get what you trying to say. But can't you just create that fences on the right side from the start?

Anyway. You can also put that fifty regular icons into fences too and just set those 10 fences background transparent and disable fences label.

That was just an example to show the problem. I should not need to put every icon in a fence. I should not need to lock all the fences and then unlock them when I want to move them. Transparency was discussed elsewhere and is a design bug for high resolution screens.
