Firefox Private Window Leaves Groupy

I submitted the following ticket to Stardock tech support earlier today. I received a reply suggesting that I post it here for "peer review" instead. It seems an unusual process to follow, but here it is:

Hello,

Groupy 1.1 on Windows 10 64-bit all updates. Firefox 58.0.2 (latest).

I have a couple of Firefox windows (different profiles) which open as part of a Groupy saved group.

When I right click on a link in Firefox and choose "Open Link in New Private Window", the link initially opens as a Groupy tab. However, after a couple of seconds, it leaves the group: the Groupy tab disappears and the Firefox private window becomes a separate window, on top of the Groupy group.

I have "Automatically group all firefox.exe windows together" checked in the Groupy menu.

I have tried but cannot reproduce this in version 1.11.  To make sure I have the conditions correct, could you post a video of what you are doing exactly?

Similar problem with chrome x64 latest. I have a group with chrome and some chrome desktop app -chrome pages saved to the desktop- (all same user). If I open a different chrome user instance from the grouped main chrome, the window jumps out of the group after a couple of seconds. Also, the grouped chrome windows (six tabs in my case) change their order ( for example: the first one before opening a new user chrome window become the third, or fourth...the second beame the first and so on) so I need to rearrange them again. Not optimal I think :)

 

Also, even with "Group all chrome.exe windows automátically" ON, when I open a Chrome Desktop app -chrome pages saved to the desktop-, they don´t go to the group with all the chrome.

 

One last note Chrome related: sometimes, when activating one of the groupy tabs with a chrome desktop app, all the group minimize on its own. Odd.

I´m using Groupy 1.11 beta (with 1.1 all these Chrome stuff also worked as I related it do with latest Groupy beta)

I updated to the 1.11 beta but the problem persists. I made a screen capture video as you requested and uploaded it to my original support ticket on the Stardock esupport site.
