Latest Windows 10 update demands DeskScapes uninstallation

Hello

I'm using DeskScapes 8, but the latest Windows security updates brings up a blue window that says "Uninstall this app now because it isn't compatible with Windows 10." It doesn't really give me any choice besides uninstalling DeskScapes.

DeskScapes was working fine until now, so I'm not sure what Microsoft is doing with this latest update. I have a feeling that there isn't much I can do on my end to let me continue using DeskScapes and Windows 10 together.

I just updated the latest Windows 10 update and I did

uninstall Deskscapes and Dream Maker before updating

After updating win 10 I reinstalled Deskscapes first then

Dream Maker ( if you use dream maker ) second.

That worked for me as you see me making dreams .

I haven't happened to run into it either.  Only a couple of things I can think of that may or may not help during the update:

Might double-check your Deskscapes version, current is 8.51

Might have Deskscapes "Disabled" while you're actually doing the Windows Updates, mine always is.

A lot of people are using Deskscapes and we don't have a lot

of posts here stating this is a problem so maybe some get a notice

and some don't .

Any who read this I would Disable or Delete the program before

doing your update to assure a smooth update ..

I have tons of programs loaded on my PC but Deskscapes and Dream Maker

seem to be ones that have a problem with the Windows update.

It's a simple fix just do as we said above .
