Fences Squash on Wide Screen After Using Just Laptop

Using Fences 2.x. I have a laptop on a docking station connected to a wide screen monitor. When I undock the laptop, and then eventually re-dock it, the Fences do not usually resize and reposition themselves correctly on the wide-screen monitor. I have to expand and reposition all of them. Is this fixed in Fences 3.x, or is there something I can do to keep this from happening?

The laptop and widescreen monitor use different resolutions, and this cannot change. Saving the current settings as a Windows theme does not help.
