fences is two icons wide

Anybody have fences all of a sudden go two icons wide and i cant put them in a single column. I just replaced my monitor with a 4k monitor. Fences was fine for about three days now all of a sudden my icons are side by side so that fences is twice as wide as it was. I cant move the icons either they just rearrange themselves into two columns. I've tried turning off auto arrange and arrange to a grid. I've selected a previous snapshot but that didnt work either. Any help would be appreciated.

What effect, if any, does changing your DPI (Scale and Layout) have:

has no effect. in fact I have a two monitor system one being a 4k scaled at 150% and one 1080p at normal scaling and they are both the same.
