Cannot drag and drop folders and icons into new fences or amongst existing fences

I was running Fences 3.0 on trial and it worked flawlessly.  I purchased the license and re-installed and now I can't drag and drop folders or files into fences.  I am running a Dell Inspiron 15 - 7559 with Windows 10 Pro build 1709 with an i7 processor, 16 gb ram and an NVIDIA Geforce GTX.

I've unchecked obvious things like "auto-arrange" on the desktop, etc. to no avail.  I've also reviewed items on this forum and Wondows 10 forums with little luck. There was one person that indicated it was a problem with Fences 3 and Windows 10 compativility and others that said it was specific to peoples machines.

Any assistance would be appreciated because, as it is, the program is useless to me.

Many thanks - Art

Longtime fences users, Same with me. Cannot drage and drop shortucts to a new fence. Was working fine on Windows 10 until aproximately 2 weeks ago, possibly coinciding with Windows 10 fall Creators Update. Please investigate.

Do a complete purge and reinstall. Make sure you are using the latest version from your account.

I still waiting for a fix, with my desktop full messed it up from this bug...

Usually a purge and reinstall will resolve this, but only for Fences 3 - Fences 2 will always have this issue on Win10:

Also, you are going to want to make sure your Fences are not 'Locked':

While rare, I have also seen some reports that certain AV apps will cause problems so you may want to turn yours off for a test.

I also disable AV without success.

As i also mentioned on my ticket i upgrade to Fences 3 because i wanted full support for Windows 10. As it seems neither the program or the Helpdesk can support me for this issue.

Due to the fact that you can not assist me, the program does not work properly, and you suggest me to ask my IT to solve the problem that i have with fences 3... please proceed with refund.

That is not exactly what I said.

You were having trouble creating a new admin account and a Windows Services only startup - something we ask clients to try to eliminate the possibility of profile issues and 3rd party app conflicts.  While instructions were provided to do this, you appeared to have trouble with it - that is when, and for what, I suggested the inclusion of your IT people for assistance.

I am sorry you are having the issue but my only remaining idea is that it is a 3rd party app conflict.

I will, when your ticket comes back around, refund your order if it is within the 90 day policy.

In any event, I am sorry it did not work out for you.
