Folder Portals: Folders require Ctrl Double Click to Open

When I double click on a folder in a folder portal it opens that folder within the fence, and all the files will be displayed as large icons which is completely unusable in a small fence. When I double click a folder is should open that folder in windows explorer not within the fence, currently users have to use Ctrl-Double Click to do this. 

This is horrible functionality.

The folder portals in Fences 2 worked better than Fences 3.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I would click the menu and change the size of the icons. That's one of the points of a folder portal is the ability to navigate the folder structure.
