Icon mouse hover properties and click to rename files no longer works on desktop. But OK in Explorer.
Possible problem with Fences 3.05?

It is no longer possible to hover over any file on my desktop to view its properties or click once to rename the file. However, the same files, when viewed in File Explorer, display properties and can be renamed after clicking. Disabling Fences 3.05 has not fixed this problem. I have not yet fully uninstalled it, however, as I don't want to lose a very elaborate configuration of fences and icons.
