I don't understand this much

So I buy WindowBlinds with the hope of getting my Windows 7 desktop to look like XP Luna. Now I go to WinCustomize and go on the right side of the page and under Filters I tell it to look for Operating Systems, and something called Psuedo Operating Systems, plus I checked WM Shell...

Now I'm expecting the site to show me all the XP Luna themes I can download.

But I get all these far out themes which ain't Luna that's for sure. No XP is shown here.

What is the deal?

And if I return to the home page and start with everything it looks like I have to sift through 610 pages of themes. I should be able to tell the search engine to just show me all the XP Luna themes.

Not all 610 pages of themes that don't have anything to do with XP.

I don't really understand this.

Not sure how many XP blinds are still up but the order of upload is the latest up front.

Go to page 180 and work backwards. The previews should provide some indication of what the blind was made for.

XP Luna, hmm. type "luna" in the search box when in windowblinds and there are some that might work for you?

Well I found a few pretty good themes. Problem I'm having is that the XP Start button is too small to fill the taskbar. I've had this same problem with other themes (not using the WindowBlinds product).

It looks like the Start button needs to be a little taller. Right now you can see a strip of blue taskbar underneath the green Start button.

Any tips on how to make the button fill the taskbar?

You would need to open the skin in SkinStudio and edit the Start Button itself to do that tkangas, as long as it is for your personal use only that would not violate any copyrights.

Make 100% certain that "other themes (not using the WindowBlinds product)" is definitely not still installed.

Results will 'vary' if/when there are two GUI modifiers on your system....;)

That theme is gross. I need a green start button that is the exact button that Microsoft gave us. Unless the green button is enclosed in that other theme?

By the way, where does Stardock place the elements to all this? The icons and stuff?

I'd like to know which folder to look in just in case there is a way for me to go into that folder and grab a specific icon that I'd like.

I noticed a problem when using WindowBlinds. I can't close down my email program. I'm using Windows Live Mail and it doesn't matter how many times I hit the Close a new window comes up to replace it. It just stays open.

Maybe just a conflict with WindowBlinds.

Windowblinds will not change or theme your icons.  IconPackager will.

The images used in each skin are stored in the folder bearing the skin name, within the Stardock\Windowblinds public documents folder.

What Jafo said is key - if you installed or ran or used any other theming application or method (especially any involving .dll hacks), conflicts with WB are highly probable, unless other theming apps are thoroughly uninstalled & Windows itself has been restored to its default state.
