Objectdock links crashing applications

Since I have installed ObjectDock, some of the links on it are causing applications to crash.  If I open these applications from anywhere else on the machine (command line, desktop shortcuts, start menu, the program files folder) they run fine, but if I open them from my dock then they crash at startup (with various errors).  If I delete the shortcut on the dock and re-add it the problem persists.

Has anyone else encountered this, does anyone have any ideas for a work around.  I've tried googling it but can't find anything.  It was bad enough when it was just Visual Studio Code that wouldn't open from my dock, but now other applications have started dying.

Are you running Win10? ObjectDock is not compatible with that yet. You have to give more information about your OS.

More than likely the program you are launching cannot find its directory.

Try creating a new shortcut directly to your desktop for the program you want to launch (not Objectdock)  Next make sure it works correctly.

Then try dragging and dropping it to your dock (I think it will work that way.. been awhile since I've used ObjectDock), and now test it again from the dock.

Yep, already tried it.  The problem isn't that the program doesn't open from the dock link, it's that the program opens and crashes from the dock link.  But not from any other shortcut.  If I delete the dock shortcut and try to create a fresh one, the app crashes again, but only, and I mean only, if I open it from a dock link.  It started with Visual Studio Code and has now spread out to a few other applications, meaning that I can't use object dock.

If it is only some applications that are crashing, make sure to tell support which ones they are (and letting them know which one do work might be useful too).

Please include the path to the EXEs for the crashtastic links.
