Better Living Through Chemistry Tutorial

HI, 

I just got this game and trying to go through all the tutorials but I am stuck on the Better Living through chemistry. I get to the stage of Optimizing Chemicals and building 2 farms, but the farms never get built the things that build things are on spaces but nothing happens also the Chemical Production never optimizes. I am really struggling with game so need to finish this tutorial and do last one but tried 5 times now and still stops at same place, any advise would be great

I was playing the game at a friend's house, wanting to see if it's something I would like to buy and I had the same issue. Apparently my friend never did the in-game tutorials and just started playing and learning that way so he never caught this bug.

I've re-played this tutorial at least 10 times and the bug happens at exactly the same moment - after I buy the mule and send it to get water. All the "rate" numbers next to the commodities disappear as soon as the mule starts its way towards the water and then I'm unable to build anything anymore. The construction ships go to the build sites (of the farms) but just sit there doing nothing.

We had a bug like this a few weeks ago but fixed it. Could you let me know what version number shows up in the lower-right corner of your game screen? I suspect that Steam is not updating your game for some reason.

It will be a couple weeks before I'm back at my friend's house as he's on vacation. I'll get you that info then.

i have exactly the same issue. Its always stopping after sending the drone.Im a lil bit disappointed that at this late game version there is still a gamebreaking bug in the tutorial in this complex game. Tried it also several times, it breaks all the time at the same point. Game Version is: 1.8.13592

you should be on version 13613, which fixes that bug. Could you try re-installing Offworld?

Hello,

thanks for reply.

I just fixed the bug with editing the ScenariosSave.bin file, which was luckily very easy to figure out what i need to change/add.Now i can go further to Tutorial 5 and watch tutorial 4 on yt or something.

Will try reinstall though too.
