you wont have to i dont beleive but you will have much outdated software and if for any reason you need to reinstall them you wont be able to

keep in mind though if your on windows 10 since the gui and everything changes so much youll want to renew subscription for patches fixes and improvements otherwise you could have issues.

its like 30 bucks for a renewal tho if youve bought it before so you do get a discount for keeping it

i am however assuming your on the object desktop suite plan as that is the most worthwhile plan.if your not disregard the price renewal statement

Download and keep copies of your software, and your key. You can continue to use the most recent versions of the software that you have installed, but you won't be able to get newer versions until you renew.

Sounds like you purchased a sub for Object Desktop today. Great. Download your software from the Stardock store and save the programs. Of course if there are any updates during the year you also get them. Also the Object Desktop serial number you use on all software.

After the year is over and you decide not to renew again you can use all the programs you have downloaded and saved. They will continue to work on your computer. If you get another computer or have to format after the year is over you can use the software with the same serial number. But you must have saved it somewhere like an external hard drive, flash drive, etc. However you will not be able to receive any updates after the year is up if you aren't a subscriber.
