The Oject Descktop Manager is not recognizing the Upgrade of Spacemonger 3 and still shows it in the Select Software to install list following an upgrade and reboot ?

First: Try logging out of ODM, then logging back in.  That often fixes the list.

Failing that: Log in to your account at store.stardock.com and go to your My Downloads page - it will be there available for download.  Just checked and version 3.00.0 is there.

I get the samething, Install spacemonger, reboot and open ODM and there again it shows up as not installed in ODM. The program is indeed installed just not according to ODM. And re logging does nothing.

ODM has in my experience been unreliable in reflecting reality for reasons unknown.  I've previously had the exact scenario you describe but with a different application.  Uninstalling and reinstalling ODM itself didn't help, either.  Seems to have been the experience of at least a limited number of other users, the specific cause(s) probably unique to each system.

The thing about ODM is it is a nice way Stardock has made available to manage the OD apps but it's only useful if it works.  It seems to for most folks, but you don't need it to work.  It offers no functionality you can't replicate quite simply in another way.

If it doesn't 'see' that SpaceMonger has been upgraded, I'd advise you just ignore ODM and get in the habit of using the MyAccounts page - it's not worth the trouble of trying to get ODM to behave.  You end up just chasing your tail for a while to no particular benefit.  That's MHO, of course.

Glad to see this is a known issue ...

All my installed Stardock software shows up properly, all except for SpaceMonger. Object Desktop Manager does not recognize that program as having been installed.
