Small quirk in ICE theme for WB10, whom to contact?

Hi, guys,

I am using the bundled "ICE" skin for WB10, but it has a small quirk I would like to be fixed, so whom should I need contact about it, Stardock or some guy "danioc" who made the theme according to its info? If him - there is no contacts :)

 

P.S. Also I have just recently bought another theme from WinCustomize which I like but it has some issues, so I can not use it with them, but the original author of this skin I have contacted said that he is not going to make any changes or fixes as he abandoned the scene and just updated the skin for Win 10 as a courtesy for previous buyers, so is it possible for other skinners to fix the issues for me? I mean, is it ok to ask other guys for such a task or not? And if ok - where can I find such people willing to do it :)

You'll get an 'autoreply' - don't answer it...keep it for its reference number (if you don't see it, check your account's email "spam" folder). Wait for an actual Support person to answer.

Stardock Support works 9-5 M-F EST, and works on a first come, first serve basis. Don't write again to them or your request for help will be moved to the end of the queue.

danioc - well, he's one heck of a skinner...a Master in fact, and designs skins for Stardock.

I am aware of your issues with the skin you mention in your P.S. as the original author is a good friend of mine. My question is, are you using High DPI settings on your system? If you are, it could cause your font size issue and the issue you are having in explorer, as I personally checked the skin in Windows 10 and saw no issues. As far as the close button glyph glow color, that is a matter of taste and probably won't be changed. Also, it would not be good of you to give the skin to someone else to edit for you, as that would mean they would get it for free and violate copyright laws.

As far as the ICE skin, you need to open a ticket at Stardock Support for that at https://www.stardock.com/support/ .

Make sure that when you submit the ticket for the ICE bug you include some screenshots or a video and a detailed description.

Ok, will submit a ticket to Stardock regarding ICE theme.

LightStar, yes, I do use resize to 125% function cause I have 30" monitor with 2560x1600 resolution and otherwise it is impossible for me to work :) BUT, I have just tested Eros theme (can name it now as you know what it is anyway :)) with the default (100%) setting and the issue with Windows Explorer buttons is still the same - these buttons are misplaced and hard to notice, while in ICE theme they are where they should be, and it is kinda annoying. I do understand the issue with asking to fix the commercial theme by somebody else, that is why I have actually asked first, but since you said that you are a friend of the skin's author, is it possible for YOU to fix the theme for me (for a small fee, of course)? ;) Cause I would really like to use it but can not in present state and think about asking for refund :(
