I've been using WB8 for a while now, with no problems. Just upgraded to WB10 at Stardock's email recommendation. It installed and loaded with no problem, but I cannot change styles; the "Apply style to desktop" button does nothing. Any idea what is going on?
My system: Windows 7 64-bit.
Uninstall WB10, reboot and then reinstall WB10. I suspect some files were not updated correctly during install.
Yes!! That worked, after a bit of suffering... uninstall also failed, saying some .dll file was missing. So I tried re-installing and rebooting, which didn't make WB10 work correctly, but it *did* allow me to uninstall it, and then after re-installing and rebooting, it works fine!!
You may want to warn people to uninstall WB8 before upgrading to WB10... at least on Windows 7... something didn't go right there...
However, it's working now, and seems to be *much* quicker to load new skins than WB8 was!! It's very cool!
