I have a bet going with someone on how this question will be answered, so we would appreciate your opinion.

 

Pretty simple question really... do you prefer the background in explorer windows to be (1) white, or (2) another color that goes well with the skin?

 

I know what I like, how about you?   :)

2 but on most skins that use a dark background color I often have to edit multiple text colors to make everything readable.

Either, as long as the contrast between the bacjground and text is easy enough to make out.  A white background with light blue text or a dark background with black text is nearly invisible to me.
