OK, need everyone's opinion...

I have a bet going with someone on how this question will be answered, so we would appreciate your opinion.

 

Pretty simple question really... do you prefer the background in explorer windows to be (1) white, or (2) another color that goes well with the skin?

 

I know what I like, how about you?   :)

As much as possible I like to avoid white and its associated glare.

as long as the text is readable then 2. but a lot of themes have text thats unreadable in the explorer background so for those i prefer 1
