Multiplicity Cannot Connect to One of My PC's with the Firewall Turned On

I have Multiplicity Pro installed on 4 of my computers but one cannot connect if the firewall is on. All of the settings are the same (re firewall settings/rules/etc) and I've cleared the rules/re-installed several times. All computers run Win10. The only thing is that the problematic computer is just a little older than the rest but it still has similar specs.

Can anyone offer where I might troubleshoot to get MultPro to work and still enjoy the benefits of having the firewall enabled? Even google has not been too kind on this so far.

Thanks,

Eric

Is the secondary computer accidentally set to public network vs Home / Work?

The Multiplicity rules only open the firewall when on a non public network for security reasons and it is very easy especially on Windows 10 upgrades to have it set to public in error.

I'm having the exact same problem ... but with just ONE of the "slaves"

I have de-installed and re-installed after deleting all of the Stardock and Multiplicity firewall rules and then reinstalling from scratch after a clean reboot.

The Stardock rules reappear after installation but NONE of the Multiplicity rules reappear on the inbound rulesets.

The only way I can get things to work is to disable the firewall for the Private Scope (which I don't like entirely).  I really don't want to manually enter the rules if I don't need to.

Any recommendations as to how I can specifically get those to get reinstantiated?  Also - running the exact same installer and ONE gives me "audio" options and the machine that I'm having problems with does not.

Thanks for any guidance.

Have exactly the same problem with one of my pc's. I managed to connect 4 windows 10 machines with no problem at all.

The one with the problem is set to private, firewall to private,  I have logmein Hamachi to private and deactivated most of the times. I have hamachi to all the other too so it is not a problem. I can connect through the network properly in both directions.
