I have GC III installed on two physical drives ((both ssd's) on one it works fine on the other it won't load again after first game save

  I am extremely frustratwed with this incongruity. GC III works an fine on my 1TB Samsung 840EVO ssd drive. But on my 512 GB Samsung 850 EVO ssd after first game play, when I try to play the game again it loads the Drengin vs Altarian graphic but bounces out to the steam interface . I have uninstalled the game through the windows program feature to see if it made any difference with a fresh reinstall, but again it plays fine initially, but when loaded at a later date it craps out again on this one ssd drive.  Any clues or suggestions. I have no other programs failing on the 512 Samsung EVO drive so really doubt there is physical damage to the drive. Both drives have windows 10 Professional 64 bit installed on them. I am grateful for inciteful suggestions and some educated guesses.
