Ship designer freezes system - anybody else?

Hi,

I've just submitted a ticket re this but was wondering whether anybody else has experienced it or it's something wrong with my machine only?

Since 1.5 beta and now 1.5, after unlocking massive hulls I sometimes get a total freeze from the designer.

In one instance, I clicked on iranium titan and then had to reboot immediately.

Anybody else?

Yep. Started happening in 1.5 and now it happens at least once per match. It has not been exclusive to massive hulls. I have gotten it with all sizes. It seems to happen late in the game, hence why it may happen more with massive hulls. It is quite repeatable in that I can often cause a freeze using the same steps from certain saves. I have submitted a ticket to Stardock with one such game save and steps to repeating it. Hopefully they can make good use of that.

Many thanks for your replies.

I was wondering whether if was my system which is already starting to get a little elderly in computer terms - rather than the code.

(Obviously I meant Iridium btw)

I also get this issue. Very frustrating. It's not just a simple CTD -> i usually need to completely reboot my PC

Hope the devs prioritise soon.

In my case the game freezes and starts hogging all the memory in my machine, basically freezing it if I'm not fast enough in closing the program from the control panel.
