Not compatable with latest nov win 10 update

Greetings, new to this, I am trying to perform the latest (Nov update) win 10 update but it.s saying I need to uninstall Deskscapes because it's incompatable. i've already upgraded Deskscapes to 8.5.

Did you have an older version of Deskscapes installed before?

It may have incorrectly detected a left over file from that as 8.5 is Windows 10 compatible and Microsoft should not be flagging it as incompatible.  To do so would be a problem for them to resolve though.

That's a totally different issue.

This thread is about the Windows 10 installer blocking installation of the November update because Deskscapes is installed.

Your issue is one after installation.

My recommendation for you is uninstall, reboot and reinstall.  If problems continue make a new thread with all the details including graphics card information and what dream you are trying to use.

That sounds like a codec issue. Install a good codec pack. I recommend the K-Lite Codec pack It can handle anything you throw at it.

Greetings, sorry if I started something with this thread but I am in agreement with Wizard1956 it was a codec issue ( I use Shark Advanced Codecs). Thx for your help
