Data Being Stripped Out of Shortcuts Win 10

2.13 Beta

Win 10 Pro 64 bit, Dell XPS8500 desktop.  In Win 10, I can establish a URL shortcut on the desktop, include it into an existing Fence.  After one or more restarts, I find that the URL data has disappeared from the shortcut - icon is still there, but non-responsive.  Same thing happens to a File or Folder shortcut - path data is stripped out of the shortcut.  This does not happen to all shortcuts, but the ones affected are usually the same.  I have restarted time after time, and have replaced the shortcuts several times, with identical results.

Any thoughts about fixing this behavior?

This doesn't sound like a Fences issue.

The_Gear:  Last night I moved the usually affected shortcuts out of Fences, but left on desktop.  So far, no problems with them.  Will monitor for a few days.

There is a setting in Windows that cleans up broken links on the desktop. I have found that shortcuts to files on my NAS must have sometimes been showing as such and were being deleted by Windows. I'd guess it was random during simultaneous scheduled reboots of the NAS and when windows was scanning for those broken links. Shutting off that feature in Windows stopped the repeated (and annoying!) deleting of shortcuts out of my fences.
