Set up Right click for start menu

Cannot access Options and Settings now

I am moving my problem to its own thread rather than hijacking another.

I followed the instructions to change the option on "Right clicking start menu" by following the tip,

Rightclick on startbutton -> Configure Start10 ->  Desktop -> Advanced -> show Win+X menu...

Now, I cannot access the configure options. When I right click on the start button, I get the Win+X menu, but can't find a way to access the options for Start 10,  to switch to a different style. How can I return to the regular settings, with no Show Win+X menu?

I tried an unistall/reinstall but the program kept those settings.

Either right click a blank space on the menu itself OR run the Start10 entry that should be in the Start Menu all programs list.

Right click on blank space in menu, and on Start button has no results. I do not see Start10 in the apps list either.

 I would like to do a clean install of the program. If I uninstall and then remove the file folders from Users/Public/Documents/Stardock/Start10

would that give me a fresh start and the opportunity to access the program before changes?

[Added} I guess it won't. I tried an uninstall, deleting all Stardock files, and a fresh reinstall with no luck. Seems the setting won't change once chosen.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this problem. Can you download and run the tool below:

http://sd.stardock.com/Support/supportToolTest/SDSupportTool.exe

Then attach the .zip that's created and send it in with a ticket to support:

Thank you.  I sent in the file a little while ago.

Running Start10Config from the Start10 installation folder will also work, though as I say there are other ways such as right clicking on the menu.  The only exception would be if you used the Windows 10 style menu in which case it would not show the right click option.

Well, I now have a fully functional Start10 again. Thank you so much Stardock. This company rocks!
