Organization on Desktop Pages

Fences Rocks, I hope there is a way around this though

I was trying to use new desktop pages today, but really couldn't because the auto organization rules of the first page were still affecting it. So dropping a document would then instantly disappear and go back to the first desktop page. Is there any way around this that isn't immediately apparent? I did look around in the settings but couldn't figure this one out.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Is what you're asking for, to be able to have a per page rules? As currently Fences filters/redirects based on your rules but not specifically to a page.

Yeah, that is what I wanted. The pages don't really mean much if I can't auto organize within them.  I'd like to use Fences to have a desktop for work and one for home, but I have home documents and work documents and it would be nice to be able to auto organize each..

You could have Fences and icons on the pages, set up how you want.
