There are a number of apps out in the wind that change the Windows 10 login screen background, most with disclaimers and failure stories. Does Stardock have a way to change the ugly native screen. Decor changes the lock screen but not the login screen - Thanks, Bob
no as technically its dangerous as it involves fucking with a pri file.you can try the one by kruludrum or however you spell his name.i use it without a glitch.you got to make sure you look for the latest one in his github though.his main page doesnt show the new one but if you click github youll see a download latest and itll take you to the right part of the github thats working.make sure you have all the windows patches to date though as the patches were what causes the issues mainly,and windows in the last patch has excluded using login screen finally
no problem.i mentioned in a much earlier post about updating logon studio.if they can figure out how the logon screen changes like this 3rd party did in windows 10 im sure we can bring that legacy program back,but this is a good alternative.again however use at your own risk.one of my friends pcs glitched using this app but then again i think he has something internally wrong with his computer neways.his screen flickers normal with a nasty green bug,so im not entirely sure it was the apps fault.
it works fine on my machine however so results may or may not vary.
i dont post a link to the logon background changer for windows 10,cause for one its not a stardock product and 2 its 3rd party.googles your friend if you wish to find it.i do not hold myself responsible if it acts up.
as a suggestion id make a system restore before you try it just in case
