Last night, I won a core sample from an auction, 8 player FFA game. . When I used them on zero resource tiles that were building solar panels, nothing happened. No resources were revealed. Core sample was not an option on the BM that game.
Unfortunately, I don't have a replay.
That happened to me once as well. Out of 2 CS items 1 yielded nothing. I would like to say it was won through an auction and applied on solar panel tile, but I can't be sure. I'll try to pay more attention from now on and will save the replay if something similar happens again.
Glad I'm not the only one. I've also had this happened several times. I had it happen while playing last night. Every time the glitch happens the first core sample always works but then the second one doesn't work.
Is that consistent with everyone else?
In my case it was the opposite - the first one failed and the second one worked fine. And that happened only once really.
