How to retrieve license info?

I don't remember buying Start10

For some reason I have a licensed copy of Start10 on my Windows 10 with a "Deactivate License" button. I don't remember paying for Start10 although I did have a valid license for Start8. I checked my email and online Stardock account too also but all I found was Start8 license info. So did I actually enter Start8 license info into my Start10 because I don't remember doing so. How can I retrieve my license info for Start10? Where is it stored on local computer?

I don't see Start10 or Start8 on your account you posted under. If you don't remember paying for it, or performing an upgrade, most likely you still need to purchase. Your product key for Start8 wouldn't work for Start10.

No it doesn't show me as trial day remaining. It shows me "Deactivate license" button. I certainly didn't install any cracked or pirated version, but I just don't remember buying Start10, only Start8.

 

@The_Gear, my account is different from the one I use for the forums. I had forgotten the password so I made a different account and then I retrieved the password.

 

Anyway, thanks for the replies. I will look my other email accounts to see if it has the Start10 key.
