Zappa, Broken Hearts are for assholes

Okay, so I'm a bit of a fan of yours...I like to follow you...but this one song you mentioned upset me only after I looked it up online and found the lyrics to it at;
http://www.lyrics.ly/lyrics.php/Zappa+Frank/Sheik+Yerbouti/Broken+Hearts+Are+For+Assholes

Frankly, I was horrified!

Even as a laugh, I find that in rather poor taste. Please tell me you don't think of women in that sense? :sniff!

Vinyl was the best... I would play it once, make a cassette recording from it and then store the album and just play the tape.

Of course, a friend of mine now has all of my albums.... I suppose if I tried hard enough I could get them back...

His (Ian Anderson) newest album- Dot.bomb is fantastic. Also admire his Minstral In The Gallery. Damn, I'm really old.

Never had the money to go to concerts. Everything went to the farm. But someday I'm going to go to one of his concerts. Of course everyone will probably be in wheelchairs and carry a walker around.

Oh brother, you just can't believe how good they are in concert....

Ian Anderson used to stand on one leg while singing and playing the flute, usually at the same time......

Of course, now he needs some chocolate hula skirted cheerleaders to hold him up but he's still got it.....

Just got a Mudaro cigar in the mail today from Finck Tobacco for being a pipe tob. customer. I fired it up 3 minutes ago and my cat took off under the fish tank. My aged father asked if there was an electrical fire somewhere, and my granddaugther came in and said the dog was passing gas again. I've now put it out. Back to my pipe. Got some Chocolate cavendish tobacco today too. I'll try that instead. And no I'm not about to share it with anyone in the Fantasyland thread.

JM my poor old cat has been constipated from too much rich catfood. Tonight after about 3 days of metamucil treatment he put out a log the size of Rhode Island. I'm so proud of the old critter I peeled him a bowl of shrimp and filled his catnip pillow up with fresh nip. In fact I'm going to have a mug of Irish coffee tonite myself. Bushmill's Irish of course. OD is out now too. Am I rambling? As Monty P. once said - Me minds gone.

I'm sitting here surrounded on the outside by 2 or 3 feet of snow and surrounded by angry leprechauns who want to put their pots o' gold any where they bloody well choose... *sigh*
What's a poor boy to do?

1976 Tull-a-Vision, with Johnny and the Edgar Winter Group, though they almost
canceled it before hand because in 1975 Led Zeppelin has to cancel because of
the weather and it Tampa Stadium being open and there was a riot...

good show though Tull always has and will rock

I don't smoke a pipe but I can take the smell of that more than ciggys or cigars...

I've seen Tull at the Mann Music Center in Philadelphia up close and personal....
It's basically an open air arena.. only open for summer concerts.
Great show... for awhile there they came back every year and we always went.

What was the original topic here? Anyway tommorrow is a work day and I'm mowing the lawn front lawn (all 3 acres). Then Thurs. the back. The wildflowers are coming out (Bluebonnets) and OC's has the best fields of wildflowers around. It also is a good excuse not to mow again for 6 weeks. (tee-hee). It's a balmy 53 here and tomorrow will be 60's. Would love to have it snow. Last time we had anything resembling it was 20 yrs ago.
