Screen Resolution/UI issues

Please don't evade/ignore this.

Ok, I want to know the deal here guys. Why is this such a massive problem? I don't want generic 'We're fixing this' or 'Please submit a ticket' or crap like that. I payed for something completely unplayable to me and still isn't fixed in 1.03 or the opt-in 1.10 patched! Don't evade, don't send me a broken .ini file like you sent my mate which boots it in windowed mode and still had the UI off by inches.

I boot my game fullsceen, I have a 1920x1080 screen and the resolution is still showing (-1x-1) in the prefs.ini file. And of course, I get part of a screen. I then find if I change it to 1280x768 it sort of fixes it, but UI is still off. I have tried doing this in windowed mode, but it still doesn't fix it.

If you could please give an ACTUAL fix then please do. Otherwise, please respect me and players enough to actually admite you don't know what's wrong or it's actually impossible to fix, which at this point I'm thinking is the issue. I paid for early access, gave up, come back to 1.03 and opt-in 1.10, I still can't play the damn thing.

I have a 1920x1080 screen and it works for me... weird. Must be something else.

Can someone please help? I know it's working for some but I know it's definitely still broke for others.

All my drivers/cards etc., are all up-to-date, I have a great graphics cards, I have way over the recommended requirements...

It seems ridiculous that this is the only game that cannot scale right. I know I'm not the only one either. Seems very odd I haven't had an official reply here, on Steam, to my emails or anything in a week.

I have the same resolution as well and no issues. What is the screen size of your monitor? What is your video card?

I know you stated you wanted an answer but to be honest this is a hardware issue. You would need to run the Stardock Tool http://sd.stardock.com/Support/supportToolTest/SDSupportTool.exe

and submit a ticket.

Hope you get it resolved...

My dpi is not 100% so it isn't a dpi issue either. At least not on Windows 7.

I have a 32" monitor at 1920x1080 resolution. My graphics card is an AMD Radeon R9 290x.

My DPI doesn't affect at all, I've messed around with that aswell. 100-200% and everything in between, it's exactly the same.

I understand it could be a hardware issue, but why is it only Gal Civ 3? If I had issues with any other game, I may think more on it, but considering this is the only game with the problem and the fact there are others wih the exact same problem points me to the game itself.
