Uninstall Start8?

Should one uninstall Start8 prior to an upgrade from Win 8.1 to Win 10 and an install of Start10?  Can Start8 config options be carried over to Start10?

So far, I will have to say yes.  My Start8 passed through the Win10Pro upgrade with flying colors.  I had little settings as this was a fresh reinstall of Win8 prior to the upgrade.  But for the little I had, everything seems to be in place.

Sorry, I mean you don't have to uninstall Start8 prior to updating to Win 10.  That's what happened when you type too quickly :|

Please uninstall Start8 before upgrading to Windows 10.

poster dgagnon909 said his worked, going from Start8 to Start10. Besides, who wants to spend another three hours configuring the new one (Start10)? Some of us have little computer skills and don't understand some of the references used in the configuration.

 

Since my Start8 is configured perfectly, then why can't I carry it over to Start10..... at least 50-75% of it anyways?
