GalCiv III and SSD?

Hello everyone,

This might be a stupid question from me, please do not laugh at me too hard.

GalCiv III runs on my PC perfectly, not a single crash or problem so far. My PC has an HDD and I intend to install an SSD instead. Will GalCiv III run on SSDs perfectly, can this switch to SSD cause any stability problems (crashes, etc.)?

I am not a PC tech wizard, I do not know much about these things, I just want a smooth and stable GalCiv III experience when I run the game from an SSD. Can the switch to SSD affect the game's stability in a negative way?

Again, sorry if the question sounds stupid.

Thanks anyone for responding.

It will work on an SSD without any problems. It really shouldn't make a difference, besides the fact that you're loading times will decrease by a fair amount. I'm running it on an SSD and it's working like a charm.

I had it installed on a HDD and moved it to my SSD because of the long loading times and microfreezes if you zoom in and out in the campaign map. The game runs on both, but neither the freezes during loading new models/effects nor the long loading times disappeared. It might load a bit faster, but the SSD doesn't make it as fast as in other games.
