OD Premium Themes

from Stardock Forums

Received an email selling SD themes. I own most of them already but some of them don't work on Win7, specially the IPs. Have the WBs and IP themes been updated to at least Win7? Can I just re-DL them to get them updated if so?

I got the same email. I don't understand why. The following is stated on the Themes page:

 " Premium Themes Require: Object Desktop with recent versions of IconPackager, Theme Manager, and WindowBlinds installed. "

 

It is well known that IconPackager only half works on Windows 7, I am afraid to even try on Windows 8.1 because when I last used it on 7 I had to do a complete reinstall of my OS to repair the default Windows icons.

 

It is equally well known that Theme Manager doesn't work.

 

Why keep selling themes intended to be used with non functional software?

If I recall, the .Theme package is just a zip file which contains the .Wba and the IP theme. Don't really need the theme manager. But I enjoy some of the themes and would like to be able to apply them again in Win7.

What IconPackage's aren't working for you?

These haven't been updated, but should be working on Win7. You can always re-download them from your account.

No. that's a premium theme which is purchased and cannot be shared.

Edit: can we expect a revival of IP for windows10 btw?
Not that i wouldnt like the Icons, but i like variety.
