Stuck in the game, can't declare war on an ally

Well so far the game is really fun and crashed just once on me in 10 hours of gameplay.

However one thing, i am stuck in my game.
I have killed every opponont except my ally, and i need to kill him to for me to get a victory.
However i can't find out how i can declare war on him, it keeps telling me that i am allies to them.
I have found the "break treaty" option and it is broken but it still tells me i am allied.
So i cannot win my game anymore :(

It's not a perfect solution, but you might be able to influence-push your "ally" and culture flip the planets, which will count towards the conquest victory.

This sounds like a bug. Have you opened a ticket?

By design, you cannot declare war on an ally. However, if you're allied to the last remaining faction, this should automatically trigger an alliance victory.

End of Crocell44's quote

You can turn off the Alliance victory, and if mystic has done so it should not be possible for an alliance victory to trigger regardless of whether or not the ally is the only other empire remaining in the game.

mystic:

Is it possible that your 'ally' has recently picked up Negotiator I in the Neutral ideology tree? The one that makes it impossible to have wars declared upon you for 50 turns?

I've noticed that it's possible to change the victory options during the game. If the alliance win is turned off, can you just turn it on again?
