Yor have no max pop?

I'm up to 111/40 population on my homeworld, and I've gone over on my other planets aswell.

Surely at some point I should be unable to use the assembly project?

Move the thread to the support forums, the devs may not be aware of the issue.

This has been seen before. Several bonuses unique for the Yor (or to synthetic races in general) used to work until the devs made a few changes to how things work. I don't know if the devs are aware of it since it has been around for several betas.

I'm seeing the same behavior with multiple 65 of 25 pop planets. In addition, my approval remains pegged at 100% on these YOR superworlds.

It's entertaining, but seems like an unintended advantage.

Thanks for reporting.

As I have seen it, you can go over max population (you don't consume food, you build/assembly your 'people') but if you overmax, it slowly starts going down (0.1/turn) untill it reach maximum capasity.

For me it's logical behaviour because of the nature of the 'race'. On the other issua is how logical is 'approval' for this same reason...

Assembly projects are suppose to stop after you go over the pop limit.

Approval can also be defined as goods and services in which such buildings allow for Yor and synthetics go in for maintenance. If you don't have enough places for goods and services then the synthetics don't operate as well. "Morale\Approval" drops.

That's your definition, not better than mine ( machines don't need/want approval, just functinalism).

It was stated in the patch notes for v1.02:

"Added a check to gray out Yor assembly projects so that you cant run them when your population is already capped"
