Winstyles

Help! Every winstyle I download just sits there, saying Contacting www.wincustomize.com. Obviously I can get there in a browser, but any Winstyle I try says the same thing over and over until it times out. Can anyone help me out?

Using winstyles requires that you have the programs installed on your computer that are being used by winstyles to install the various parts of the winstyles suite. If it is using Windowblinds, Iconpackager, DesktopX or whatever in the suite these programs need to be installed before you can use the suite.

Yes, I have all the products installed. And I am a paying subscriber to Object Desktop. So, I do have all the products.

I know this won't help right now, but the servers are really taking a hit because of the wb4 alpha release on ODNT. Things should ease up in a while...(hopefully)

What are your internet settings in WinStyles?

Open WinStyles and go to Settings and halfway down you see two check boxes for Dial-up and LAN.
