CursorFX 2.16 now available

from Stardock Forums

We released the v2.16 update for CursorFX which address a few issues that were reported by users.

In this update:

  • Fix for MS Office 365 right click menu not working when CursorFX is enabled
  • Fix for Firefox / Thunderbird where CursorFX prohibited access to menu items
  • Fix for invisible cursor after changing themes

I see this update fixed problem with MS Office 365, but I use Office 2013 and the same problem exists with drop-down menus and right-click menus and this version did not fix my problem. Office 2013 works perfectly when I go back to Windows default cursor...if I apply a cursor package, I can't use my drop-down menus, etc...

Can this be fixed in a future update? I hate having to constantly switch my cursors back and forth. Has anyone else reported this in Office 2013?

I have an Object Desktop renewal account and I don't want to ditch CursorFX. There's obviously some compatibility issue.

Additional info: I'm running Windows 7 64-bit Professional. CursorFX works fine with Office 2007, but not with Office 2013.

I uninstalled CursorFX after the previous version caused me a nightmare with Office programs. I reported the issue in a previous thread. Looking at the last post I guess the problem still exists unless you're running Office 365 so I'll stay away from the last few updates and work with old version. Is this going to be fixed for other Office versions?

Tip: Control+Shift+C will toggle between the themed cursor and Windows default. ;)
