Fences Scrambled

After I have been running other programs, eventually the desktop becomes scrambled with icons for shortcuts being randomly placed in the Fences I have created on the screen.  At this point I cannot open any of the programs in that fence and end up having to do a restart to correct it.  Has anyone else had this experience??

Are you running games/programs that change the screen resolution? I don't use Fences but I know there are settings to maintain aspect ratio and other resolution specific settings there somewhere. you might check those out.
