Crash On Planetary Invasion By Pirates

I just started playing the newest opt-in Beta as the Drengin. Upon conquering the last Yor Planet their remaining units, including transports, changed to the pirate faction. This faction proceeded to invade one of my planets which caused to invasion prompt to come up followed by a complete crash to desktop.

 

Is this simply due to the pirate faction not being fully implemented yet?

Thanks for posting your issue, save and dump files would help greatly. For sending save, dump, debug.err files. Would you kindly, submit a ticket via our support system so that I can better assist you with your issue. After following the link, run the support tool, include your steam name, describe the issue you are having and then send us the zip file to greatly speed up the process!
