Run in Windowed Mode

How do you run Galciv3 in windowed mode? I'm trying to test why my game keeps freezing and crashing. Someone mentioned about running in windowed mode. I set the launch options for the game in Steam using "-windowed" and then later tried "-sw" (both without the quotes), but neither command worked. It still runs in full screen mode. Can anyone send me instructions on how to do this?

Uncheck Fullscreen in the options and turn the resolution down. Though note that the fullscreen option is technically windowed (nonexclusive) anyway, it just stretches whatever resolution you choose to your screen.

Thank you Kryo for this tip. It helped as I was able to make it all the way to turn 35 before my first freeze. Unfortunately, this time the freeze was the worst I've had with all of Galciv3's beta's. This freeze crashed my entire system, forcing a hard reset. Oh well. I certainly understand this is a Beta, I just wish I could actually play the game enough to have any solid feedback I could give to help improve it. I hope these issues will be ironed out eventually, I trust they will be. I spent $99 on the game expecting it to be great just as galciv2 was. I fully expect it will be eventually. Unfortunately for now, it looks like I will have to just wait until the next Beta version to try playing again. I will try playing again if you can offer any advice on what can be done to get the game running more reliably.
