Scrolling Issue (map always moves to the bottom right)

I have been trying to play the current build but my game always scrolls to the lower right corner of the map. When I scroll the map (using the WASD keys) it will scroll back to the lower right when I release the key. I am unable to scroll using the mouse (unknown if I'm supposed to be able to). I could not discover if this was a known issue or not (or if there is a solution).

This makes the game unplayable currently.

Hi Abe,

I'm sorry the game's not playable.

What kind of mouse are you using? Are you using a trackpad on a laptop? Can you try a different mouse? What OS are you running?

We've seen this before elsewhere and haven't been able to reproduce it in-house. Please let us know as much information as you can so we can fix it.

Thank you! You're a great president!

I understand this is a development build, the product looks great from what little I can do!

I'm on a desktop using windows 7 (64) and using a R.A.T 7 mouse and Corsair K70R Keyboard. I also have a Saitek X-55 plugged in but I assume that should not interfere with this game.

This could be caused by the mouse scrolling if the game thinks the cursor is at the edge of the screen.  You can disable mouse scrolling by toggling NumLock.  The other way the camera scrolls is with the Horizontal and Vertical Input mappings.  Depending on your configuration, it could be bound to the arrow keys, WASD, or even your joystick.  You can inspect and edit your Input mappings by holding down SHIFT while launching the application from Steam.  So mess with NumLock and try unplugging your joystick and see if either of those gets you anywhere.  Since we have been unable to reproduce the issue in-house, you are our eyes and ears, so please share your findings, both positive and negative.  Thanks.

I looked at the input and it did have my flight stick as the input for "vertical" and "horizontal" but the inputs would not allow me to change this. I disconnected the joystick and the issue is resolved (the throttle is still attached). Thanks for the suggestions now I'll have to hope it gets fixed so I don't have to unplug my flightstick after my Elite session  ;) .

Thanks again.

I just removed joystick from the input list.  I don't have a joystick, so I can't test if this fixes your scrolling issues.  Would you mind testing the next build (probably next week) with your joystick?  Thanks.
