Help getting started making custom cursor

Hello,

Need some pointers on how to get started with my own cursor.  I have to make a mechanical wasp cursor to match my theme for my home theater.  Any info would be appreciated.  I am willing to even pay if anyone can assist me over the internet or take the job.  Look at the photos in the links below.  Basically I want the wasp's tail to be the pointer.  And maybe moving wings or glowing "E" in it's body when something is clicked.  I rarely check my email.
