Can't Activate Start8 On Same Computer After Fresh Re-install Of Win8.1

Hello All,

I formatted and re-installed a fresh version of Windows 8.1 Pro on my home PC earlier today. The PC had Start8 installed on it prior to formatting (I did not uninstall it, it was just wiped away by the format/fresh install).

After installing a fresh version of Win8.1 on the same PC I tried to install Start8 again. The install process worked fine, however, whenever I run Start8 and try to activate it I get the following error message:

"Unable to activate Start8. The license is currently associated with a different computer."

Is this due to the fact that I did not uninstall Start8 prior to re-formatting my PC?

How can I "un-register" Start8 from my old Windows installation and associate it with this new one?

To deactivate the license, you need only uninstall it. If you've formatted before uninstalling, it's possible you're reached the maximum activations.
